A Christian 12-Step Ministry
A Unique Program
There are five features that make Celebrate Recovery a unique 12-step program:
1.Celebrate Recovery is based on God’s Word…
We look to God’s Word for our wholeness, growth and spiritual maturity. The Bible is a powerful resource for recovery and healing.
2.Celebrate Recovery is forward looking…
Rather than wallowing in the past, or dredging up painful memories over and over, we focus on the future. Regardless of what has already happened, the solution is to start making wise choices now and depend on Christ’s power to help make those changes.
3.Celebrate Recovery emphasizes personal responsibility…
Instead of playing the accuse and excuse game, where we become victims, this program helps people face up to their own poor choices and deal with what they can do something about. When we stop hiding our own faults and shifting blame, the healing power of Christ can begin working on our minds, wills, and emotions.
4.Celebrate Recovery emphasizes spiritual commitment to Jesus Christ…
The 3rd step of Celebrate Recovery calls for people to make a total surrender of their lives to Jesus Christ. Without Christ there is no recovery, only disappointing substitutions and repeated failure.
5.Celebrate Recovery is built on the biblical principle of real community; it is fellowship-focused…
It is built around small group interaction and the support of caring community.
Alone doesn’t work. We grow and get better together. Fellowship, in the power of God’s love, is an important component of spiritual growth. The Paradise Alliance Church Celebrate Recovery Ministry Team invites you to
Celebrate Recovery. Our purpose is to serve God by reaching out to others so they can step out of denial into God’s
grace, take an honest and spiritual inventorythat will help them get right with God, themselves and others, and that will allowthem to grow in Christ while helping others.
The Ministry Team’s calling and dedication is based on Paul’s words
found in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4,
“Praise be to God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.”
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered program based on
8 Principles of Recovery found in the Beatitudes and the
12 steps and their Biblical comparisons.
This program helps people deal with hurts, hang-ups, and habits.

Prayer for Serenity
God, grant me the serenity To accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can And the wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time,Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardship as apathway to peace;
Taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is; Not as I would have it;
Trusting that You will make all things right If I surrender to Your will;
So that I maybe reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with You forever in the next.
AMEN

Find help and healing for the hurt of separation and divorce.
DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone.
DivorceCare seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable DivorceCare resources to help you deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.
Healing from your divorce is not easy. It’s a long, sometimes painful process.
You don’t have to go through it alone
Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they’ve ever faced. It’s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you’ve never faced before.

Helping children heal from the hurt of divorce. Designed for children ages 5–12 whose parents are separated or divorced.
DivorceCare for Kids is a special group to help children heal from the hurt caused by the separation or divorce of their parents. At their weekly DC4K group, kids make friends with other kids who understand how they feel and the things they are going through because of the divorce of their parents. Best of all, children will learn how God's love can strengthen them and help turn tears to hope and joy!
The DC4K group meets weekly in 13-week cycles. We combine games, crafts, activities, music and DVD dramas to create a fun atmosphere where children feel comfortable and accepted. They look forward to each time their DC4K “family” gets together.

Keystone Christian Counseling Center is a ministry of Paradise Alliance Church offering professional counseling services to the Paradise Ridge. Many of us, at times, need help with the difficulties and challenges life brings us: grief and loss, depression, confusion, the stress of living in a fast-paced culture, spiritual struggles, parenting and marital problems. We are here to help….
Keystone is a ministry, providing services to everyone who has a need. Although professional counseling services can be expensive, we do not want to turn anyone away. Most clients are charged a fee based on a sliding scale determined by current income. For those needing financial support in affording counseling, we offer assistance through our benevolence fund. For our church congregation, giving directly to the benevolence fund is a wonderful way to minister to others.
