Dave and Brenda Aderholdt

David and Brenda Aderholdt are our partner missionaries in Macedonia.  Dave and Brenda over the past 10+ years have been used by God to assist in the planting of 10 new Evangelical Churches with Macedonian Pastors in place.  Brenda works primarily with women across the country; leading them to the Lord and Discipling them through the ministry called Entrust.  David is the Lead Pastor at the International Church in the capital city of Skopje.  David is also working with, mentoring, and encouraging Pastors and Missionaries throughout the country and into Asia.
We are honored to be able to partner with the Aderholdts.  We see them as an extension of our ministry as we try to fulfill the great commission and mandate to go and make disciples, “here, there, and everywhere”.  Below you will find their latest letter to us.

Dear Friends and Family

Monday morning, the backhoe digging right next to our house cut right through the neighborhood water main.  Needless to say, we (along with everyone else in the neighborhood) were without water most of the day.  Of course this occurs right in the middle of our big weekly cleaning and clothes washing cycle and all of that came to sloppy stop.  About 6 hours later, they were able to put in a temporary fix and the pressure came back up.  But we only had water in HALF the house!  The water company sent over an idiot . . .er, representative . . . who went into the bathroom (where the water comes into the house) and in extremely typical fashion starts yelling that our water valve is old and that we would have to replace it . . . and he starts playing with all the other water valves in the bathroom as well.  These other switches are all connected to our old water heating system which is completely broken and hasn't been used in years.

When the  . . . representative . . . realized that I was not going to replace the water valve, he agreed to do it.  And did it, since it was the sand in the system from the break that had blocked it up.  When replaced and pressure put back on the system, we had water . . . everywhere.  Its a miracle that Helen and I did not get electrocuted from the deep water in the living room!  The . . . representative . . . had open the valves to the old heating system and it was pouring water in all the places we don't want water!  In our haste to close the valves on the old heating system, we broke those valves!  I think we used every towel in the house cleaning that mess up.  Two days later, they broke the sewer main with the same backhoe, but I will save that story for another week.  These were the disasters.  Read on for the surprises.

Together we make a great team,
