Paradise Alliance Church exists to fulfill Jesus' Great Commission to make disciples of all nations starting right here on the Ridge and extending to the ends of the earth. We understand the disciple-making as a charge that involves both evangelism and discipleship as two sides of the same coin. So, while many people would describe us as outreach oriented or a church with a heart for missions and evangelism, we also spend a great deal of time and energy building into the lives of believers with the aim that they grow into a maturity marked by others-centeredness (love for God, their fellow believers and the lost). We believe that discipleship should have outreach as its final fruit and conversely that the best outreach is done by people who are well-grounded in their faith and growing in love.

Regarding evangelism, we believe that methods, while important, may change and are secondary to mindset. We seek to equip believers both relationally and rationally, so that they can both "give an answer" when asked, and also answer in such a way that their life validates their message. We believe in a multifaceted or team approach to evangelism, based on the idea that "it takes all kinds of people to reach all kinds of people." We don't force God's people into a one-size-fits-all approach to evangelism but rather help them discover and build upon their evangelistic strengths as God has uniquely shaped them. We believe it is the responsibility of the Church in every age to communicate the relevance of the Gospel to its time. Doing so requires a firm understanding of the unchanging Gospel message but also an understanding of those we seek to reach, and the ability to effectively bring that message to those people. We believe our Lord deserves the best possible representatives in this world, meaning that we are ever struggling to more accurately reflect him through both our words and our lives.

We believe that the aim of discipleship should be "love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faith." (1 Timothy 1:5) A growing disciple, then, is one who comes more and more to serve rather than to be served. And in a time where ability seems often to be valued over character, our goal is to help people make godliness the aim of their lives. We desire to see men and women raised up who are healthy in all aspects of their lives so that they can better serve others and shine as lights in the world.

Because we are a part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination, we are an alliance of evangelical believers, joined together in this church, committed to fulfilling the Great Commission given by our Lord Jesus Christ. We are Christian because we believe and follow Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. We are missionary because we are committed to reaching unreached people with the good news of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to know Jesus Christ; exalt Him as Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King; and complete His Great Commission. Paradise Alliance Church is a growing, singing, laughing, serving, and giving church. With people from all ages and backgrounds, we are discovering day to day how to have an adventurous, meaningful walk with God.We have active groups for people of all ages to fellowship and learn. We have lots of youth and children, and very active senior citizens. We have an enthusiastic worship service that blends various styles, from traditional to contemporary. We play an active part in fulfilling Christ’s Great Commission, to make disciples of all nations. We have a passion for serving the Ridge, Valley and the World.
